Close-Up Quality: Aluminium Window Painting in Mudgeeraba, Reedy Creek, Bonogin, and Surrounds

In this short but powerful 14-second video, we showcase the precision and quality of our aluminium window painting process—culminating in a close-up of the finished surface. It’s a glimpse into the kind of care and attention to detail RepaintPro brings to every project across the Gold Coast suburbs, including Mudgeeraba, Reedy Creek, Bonogin, Worongary, Robina, and Varsity Lakes.

Meticulous Preparation for a Flawless Finish

Every successful project begins long before the first coat of paint is applied. We start by thoroughly cleaning the aluminium surfaces to remove dirt, grime, oxidation, and any contaminants that could affect adhesion. This step is critical for both adhesion and longevity.

Once cleaned, we carefully mask surrounding areas with professional-grade tape to protect walls, glass, and other materials. As seen in the video, we take the time to ensure edges are sharp and clean—because that’s what creates the standout finish you’ll see at the end.

Professional Priming = Long-Lasting Results

After surface cleaning and taping, we apply a specially formulated adhesion primer that’s designed for aluminium substrates. This is an essential step in ensuring your paint doesn’t chip, peel, or fail prematurely. The primer chemically bonds to the metal, creating the perfect surface for the topcoats to adhere to.

Whether your windows are old powder-coated aluminium or bare metal, our system ensures maximum bond and durability. Our clients in Robina, Reedy Creek, and Bonogin frequently comment on how new their windows look—and stay looking—after years of sun, rain, and salt exposure.

Airless Spray Application for a Factory-Like Finish

We use airless spray systems to apply both primer and finish coats. This ensures an even, brush-free result with no roller marks or streaking. You’ll notice in the video how smoothly the paint goes on, and the consistent coverage across mullions, frames, and reveals.

This application method not only gives the windows a sleek, factory-like appearance, but also allows for precise control over coat thickness and drying times.

A Range of Colour and Finish Options

We can recolour aluminium windows to suit your project’s aesthetic—whether you’re modernising a Mudgeeraba home or giving a Robina rental property a fresh lease of life. Common choices include semigloss black, classic white, Monument, or Surfmist—but we can colour match to almost any preference.

Each finish is selected with durability in mind. Our coatings are UV-resistant and built to handle the tough Queensland climate. We offer both low sheen and semigloss finishes depending on your preference and the condition of the frames.

Why Repainting Makes Sense

Repainting your aluminium windows is a cost-effective and sustainable way to modernise your home. Window replacement is not only costly—it can disrupt internal walls, tiles, and trims. Our on-site spraying service avoids all that hassle while giving you a result that looks brand new.

We’re proud to serve suburbs like Worongary, Varsity Lakes, and Bonogin, where many homes benefit from a modern aesthetic but still have quality, older aluminium windows that just need an update.

Finish Quality That Speaks for Itself

The final frames, as shown in the close-up of this video, speak volumes about our attention to detail. You can see the smooth surface, uniform colour depth, and precise edges. This is not a job for rollers or hand brushes. This is high-level work done by professionals who specialise in aluminium repainting.

Many of our clients initially reach out because of flaking paint, oxidised aluminium, or faded colours. By the end of the project, they are thrilled with a finish that’s both beautiful and built to last.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How long does it last? We are licensed with the QBCC and offer a 6-year workmanship warranty. Many of our coatings are still going strong after more than 8 years.
  • Can you paint over powder-coated aluminium? Absolutely. Our system is specifically designed to adhere to both bare and previously coated aluminium surfaces.
  • Do you need to remove flyscreens? Yes, and we can even re-mesh and refit them after spraying for a completely refreshed look.
  • Do I need to be home? You’re welcome to stay, but we recommend being outside for 4–5 hours or out for the day during the spraying process. The odour usually dissipates quickly.
