Even then, correct protective equipment and mixing procedures are followed.
2PAC is not “better everywhere.” It is better in specific, controlled conditions.

Single-pack (over proper primer):

Most residential aluminium windows do not experience industrial abuse.
They experience sun, salt air, rain, and normal use.
A properly applied single-pack system handles this well when preparation is correct.
Why Preparation Matters More Than System Choice
Whether using single-pack or 2PAC, the system will fail if preparation is poor.
Preparation includes:

Health and Responsibility
The biggest reason we separate these systems is responsibility.
2PAC contains isocyanates.
Isocyanates can:

Spraying these products inside someone’s home is not something we consider responsible.
Single-pack systems significantly reduce that risk.
Choosing the appropriate system is not about ego or toughness. It is about suitability.

Not true. It is more durable in specific conditions. It is not automatically superior for residential windows.
“Single-pack is weak.”
Not when applied correctly over proper primer with proper film thickness.
“All black finishes should be 2PAC.”
No. Sheen and colour can be achieved with both systems. The environment determines the choice.
