RepaintPro offers expert onsite spray painting for aluminium and Colorbond fences across the Gold Coast, South Brisbane, and Northern NSW. Restore and modernise your fence with our premium process and flawless finish.

Give Your Fence a New Life—Without Replacing It

Whether your fence has faded from years of sun exposure or the colour simply no longer matches your home’s style, repainting your aluminium or Colorbond fence can be one of the most cost-effective and visually impactful ways to update your property’s appearance.

At RepaintPro, we specialise in onsite spray painting of aluminium and Colorbond fencing. Using a careful multi-step system and professional airless spraying equipment, we restore fences to a modern, fresh look that lasts.

We service residential and commercial properties from South Tweed Heads to South Brisbane, including all suburbs across the Gold Coast and Northern NSW. If your fence needs an update, we’re here to help.

Why Repaint Instead of Replace?

Aluminium and Colorbond fencing is built to last—but after years exposed to sun, rain, salt, and wind, the factory coating can begin to fade, chalk, or peel. Many people don’t realise that repainting is even an option, let alone a professional solution that can save thousands over replacement.

Repainting allows you to:

Keep your existing fence structure Avoid the high cost of demolition and installation Choose a new modern colour to better match your home or landscaping Extend the life of your fence by sealing and protecting the surface Achieve a smooth, uniform finish without brush marks or patchy rollers

Our Process: Aluminium & Colorbond Fence Repainting

We follow a three-step process that ensures lasting results with a finish that looks like it came straight from the manufacturer.

1. Wash and Clean

Proper surface preparation is the most important part of any professional painting project.

We begin by pressure washing the entire fence to remove:

Dirt and dust Road grime and air pollutants Salt spray (especially near coastal areas) Mould and mildew Loose or chalking paint

If needed, we’ll also apply a degreasing solution to remove any oils or contaminants that could interfere with paint adhesion.

This step ensures the surface is clean, stable, and ready for coating.

2. Prime (If Required)

If the fence is made of bare aluminium, we apply a specialised etch primer formulated to bond to non-ferrous metals. This primer provides excellent adhesion between the bare aluminium and the topcoat, and it helps prevent future corrosion.

For Colorbond fencing, a primer is generally not needed if the surface is in good condition and has not been previously coated. However, if the fence is glossy or has been painted in the past, a bonding primer may be used to ensure proper adhesion.

We assess each job individually and choose the right preparation and primers to match the surface and desired finish.

3. Spray Application – Two Coats of Acrylic Finish

Once primed (if required), we spray two full coats of high-quality exterior acrylic paint using our professional airless spray equipment.

We use premium products from Dulux, Haymes, or Resene, all of which are:

UV stable Designed for Australian outdoor conditions Long-lasting and fade-resistant Available in low sheen or semi-gloss finishes

This spray application creates a streak-free, factory-like finish with full coverage on all fence panels, rails, edges, and posts. Because we spray the finish, there are no brush marks, roller textures, or uneven spots—just a smooth, consistent coat from top to bottom.

Colour Options to Suit Any Home

The colour of your fence can make a big difference to the overall appearance of your home. A modern black, monument grey, or deep charcoal can give your yard a sleek, updated look. Alternatively, soft coastal tones like Surfmist, Shale Grey or Paperbark can brighten and lift the space.

We offer all the most popular Colorbond and Dulux exterior colours, and we’re happy to help match your existing trims or recommend colours that complement your property.
